Heb je een idee voor een mobiele versie van een bestaande educatieve online applicatie of website? Doe dan mee met de wedstrijd Make-it-Mobile! Het SURFnet/Kennisnet innovatieprogramma roept docenten, studenten, leerlingen, ict-coördinatoren en managers afkomstig uit alle sectoren op om een voorstel in te zenden. Per onderwijssector wordt uiteindelijk één winnaar aangewezen. De jury let vooral op de educatieve meerwaarde van het mobiel aanbieden van het lesmateriaal. Ideeën voor laptops en Ultra Mobile PC's als dragers zijn uitgesloten. Het gaat echt om het gebruik van smartphones, PDA's en mobiele telefoons. De winnende ideeën zullen met ondersteuning van het SURFnet/Kennisnet innovatieprogramma uitgevoerd worden. Inschrijven en meedoen kan vanaf 1 september tot 3 november 2009. Bekijk ook de spelregels. What is BasicGPS ? BasicGPS is software application designed primarily for Geocaching, and runs on Phones and PDAs equipped with the Windows Mobile 5.0/6.0/6.1 'PocketPC' Operating System. One of the main features of BasicGPS is that the application actually speaks to you, providing a range and bearing to the cache site. This is particularly useful in areas of 'high muggle activity'. You can put the phone in your pocket, use headphones, and the voice will guide you to the cache site! As the application is free to use, all that we ask in return is that you provide us with feedback on the software, together with details of any issues you may come across while using the application.
